HiroFORCE writes "At 9:00a Pacific Time on Tuesday, January 22nd, Pirates of the Burning Sea will officially launch for our North American and European customers. The transition requires us to put our servers into an administrative mode for testing and quality assurance, beginning Monday, January 21st at 6:00p Pacific Time. As of that time you will be unable to play until we resume service the next morning.

The Pirates of the Burning Sea game servers will then return to service at 9:00a on Tuesday, January 22nd, allowing Pirates of the Burning Sea Pre-Boarding Party customers to apply their Landing Party Key and their Prima Strategy Guide Parrot Key. (The Landing Party Key simply allows Pre-Boarding Party customers to continue to /claim their Pre-Boarding Party Items on any new characters they create. Characters who have already used /claim will keep their preorder items regardless of whether you use your Landing Party Key. It is important to note that if you do not apply your Landing Party Key, any new characters you create after launch will not have access to the Pre-Order Bonuses.)

Important Note:
While Pre-Boarding Party customers will retain all of their progress to date, including any characters created and all inventory collected, they will be required to apply the 20-digit Game Key from inside the Pirates of the Burning Sea Retail Box to continue playing. That key can be applied by visiting a link after 9:00a Pacific Time on Tuesday, January 22nd and cannot be applied until then.

Also keep in mind that on Monday, January 21st at 6:00p Pacific Time, we will be taking our servers down to prepare for the January 22nd launch of Pirates of the Burning Sea."

Pirates of the Burning Sea open beta is scheduled to begin worldwide on Monday, December 3, 2007. All existing beta testers are automatically included in the open beta.

On December 3rd, North American players that aren’t currently beta testers will need to go to www.fileplanet.com for download information, or they can register for the open beta program at www.burningsea.com. While information and localized links will be made available to our European players shortly via www.piratesoftheburningsea.com, as of this announcement this information has not been published. We’ll share more information as soon as it is available.

End of NDA:
The start of open beta signals the end of the Pirates of the Burning Sea Non-Disclosure Agreement. This will mean that on December 3rd, individuals are welcome to share their Pirates of the Burning Sea experiences with people around the world! We hope you will take this opportunity to draft a blog entry, forum post, or anything else in which you share your experiences as a captain of the Burning Sea.

End of Beta Event:
Flying Lab Software staffers are planning some very exciting events to occur throughout the day on Saturday, December 1st. We’ll be sharing a schedule of these events on Thursday, November 29th. At the close of this event in the evening of 12/1, the Beta Servers will go down and be wiped in preparation for the Pirates of the Burning Sea Open Beta on December 3rd. And again, all beta testers are automatically included in the open beta from day one. In fact, we’re counting on you to get busy spinning up the economy!

Pirates of the Burning Sea, the MMORPG featuring high seas action and adventure in a bold world of pirates and plunder, is scheduled to be available for pre-order starting Tuesday, October 23rd at participating retail locations.

Players who pre-order the game will receive the following:

* An invitation to the 'Pre-Boarding Party' allowing them access to the live game up to 15 days prior to launch, and the ability to keep their characters, skills and equipment after launch with purchase of game and paid subscription (characters will have a level cap of 20 during the pre-boarding party)

* Captain's Best Friend - a blue and yellow parrot

* Mighty Blades – Swedish Rapier, Old World Steel or Musketeer's Matching Blades (depending upon which fighting style is selected)

* Original Game Soundtrack CD - 60 minutes of pirate themed music (comes in pre-order box)

Pirates of the Burning Sea is scheduled to be available for preorder in North America on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. A European pre-order date has not been set at this time.

HiroFORCE writes "In a very fast match made so because Butcher only had 30 minutes to play FORCE defeated =HT= 7-1 as fast as they can. And when the smoke cleared we had 10 minutes to spare. The usual Sandstorm plan was out the window so it was al all out assault.
